Our goal is to make the septic system design process streamlined and easy. From initial job research to site meetings and paperwork submissions, we coordinate all of the required aspects of the project. We go out of our way to keep it as cost effective for you as possible. When you contact us, you can be confident we’ll assist you with the specific needs of your project whether it is a gravity system, pressurized system, mound system, or an advanced treatment system.

Septic System Installation and Replacement

Midwest Sewer Services installs residential and commercial septic systems throughout the state of Minnesota for new construction, existing homes, and expansions of older septic systems. Each system is specific to the characteristics of your property, soil conditions, and the amount of waste the system will need to support. When installing a septic system, it is important to choose the correct design for your property; this will allow for optimal long term performance and will ensure no harm comes to the surrounding environment. We will work with you to ensure you’re getting the best septic system for your property for the most amount of value.

Septic System Troubleshooting & Repair

It is important to hire a knowledgeable professional when it comes to septic issues. Our team has over forty years of combined experience troubleshooting systems and it’s rare for us to find something that we haven’t seen before.  We will evaluate your septic system and determine the best solution for a safe and affordable system that you can depend on. Here are a few of the typical problems we see and their remedy:

Failed lift pumps – Evaluate the size of the existing pump, integrity of electrical connections and other potential failure points, and replace as necessary.

Failed electrical controls – Many pumping systems fail due to poorly configured/installed electrical controls that are not easily serviced. We evaluate any existing controls for reliability and serviceability and reconfigure these controls as necessary.

Plugged or damaged lines – Use a sewer camera to help identify the integrity of the pipe and location of the blockages or damage within the pipe and make any necessary repairs.

Collapsed/plugged drainfield distribution boxes – Identify the location of the failed components and replace or reconstruct as necessary.
